Mountainside Park has two loop trails -- the Blue Trail and the Red Trail -- each 2.2 miles long. The Blue Trail climbs steeply to the top of Pequannock Knob, which offers outstanding views of northern New Jersey and the New York City skyline.
Park Description:
Although the sounds of I-287 creep up these steep hills, the views more than make up for it. The North American Butterfly Association features this park as one of their key locations. Contact Pequannock Township for camping information.
