Park Description:
The park was established in 1914 as New Jersey's first state park. Glaciers formed its two lakes thousands of years ago. The park offers camping, swimming, boating, and fishing in addition to hiking trails.

There are four marked trails, ranging from 0.6 to 2.8 miles -- the NJ DEP web site includes a synopsis of each trail (see Contact Information). Pathways range from a flat paved surface to more rugged climbs.
