Summary

Committee members have roles that are part of the publication process, can have multiple roles, or serve on the committee between active roles. 

Responsibilities 

  • Attend monthly Publications Committee meetings
  • Review and suggest corrections to minutes
  • Review other materials in meeting packet
  • Assume responsibility for parts of the publication process for books and maps
  • Report on agenda items for which you are responsible
  • Work with committee chair and cartographer as needed
  • Maintain the Publications Manual which documents policies and procedures
  • Report hours
  • Suggest new products

Skills needed

  • Ability to work with Google Docs
  • Special skills that relate to your assigned role

Time Commitment: 2 hours per month on committee work, plus other position hours
